Medical help when you travel
Life works in your home city and wherever you travel. Tell your Life team what you need and where you are. We find a clinic nearby, check credentials, send you the exact price and book it once you approve.
What we can arrange while you are away
- A doctor or specialist appointment in the city you are in.
- Blood tests at a trusted lab nearby.
- Scans such as MRI, CT or DEXA.
- Follow-up care after an emergency.
How fast we reply
- Life Essential – €49: within 24 hours, Monday to Friday 8–17 CET (excluding public holidays).
- Life Plus – €149: within 4 hours, seven days a week.
- Life Private – €490: the same day, around the clock, with a named care manager and physician and medical help when you travel, worldwide.
Clinic, lab and specialist fees are paid separately, exactly as quoted, with no mark-up. Prices per person per month, including VAT.
Not an emergency service
Life does not replace emergency care. If you have urgent symptoms, call the local emergency number straight away (112 in the EU). Once you have had urgent care, we can help with follow-up care.

Does Life work abroad?

Does Life pay for treatment abroad?
No. Life arranges and books care. Clinic, lab and specialist fees are paid separately, exactly as quoted, with no mark-up.
Which plan includes medical help when I travel?
Every plan works wherever you are. Life Private (€490 a month) adds medical help when you travel, worldwide, with same-day replies around the clock.
Where are my results kept?
In your private record, stored in the EU, encrypted and opened only by people you approve. You can download everything at any time.
What should I do in an emergency abroad?
Call the local emergency number straight away (112 in the EU). Life is not an emergency service.
